Adult Training and Employment Program
CARES Chicago's Adult Training and Employment Program (ATEP) provides FREE comprehensive holistic services to individuals who are unemployed or underemployed.
This program integrates training, job development, job placement and career advancement services to remove employment barriers.
CARES
Employment Services to provide individuals with one-on-one staff assisted job searching, job development, job referrals, placement assistance, career counseling, workshops and job clubs.
Intensive Employment Services to provide individuals with specialized employment assistance, including the development of an Individual Employment Plan and career planning to enhance employment opportunities.
Training Services to provide the occupational skills for the specific job in which the individual will be placed.
Placement Services to match job opportunities with individual clients.
Employment Retention Services to ensure that the placement is satisfactory both to the client and to the employer.
The program is FREE to anyone aged 18 and older who is low income, a veteran, an ex-offender, homeless, or disabled and looking to become employed.
